You may wonder what is a Yamaroody Mama? Well, let me start by introducing myself. I am a 41-year-old mom of 3 – two girls ages 8 & 6 and a 3-year-old boy. We also homeschool! I love to knit and crochet, make things and sew, and I love to run! All of this, of course, in my free time!
My day begins by heading to the YMCA for a morning swim, then I crawl back into bed until 7am when my little boy comes in my room and says, “Mama I need you”. Best words ever! I get up to find my girls already eating breakfast. And then, I spend the next 30 minutes in repeat mode.
I could honestly just record these words and play it on repeat for 30-45 minutes. Then, we begin school! After we finish, I make lunch, clean the house, and then I get to figure out what we will eat for dinner. By this time, I get to do laundry. The never-ending laundry! And the basket seems to always be full! After that, I probably organize the playroom for the 10th time and then cook dinner!
We go, go, go, nonstop and wouldn’t trade it for the world! Motherhood is the best gift in the world, the biggest reward, and the best work out! It is the toughest job too. We are raising little humans; the future of this world depends on us! We should all look like supermodels! After all, we are superheroes! Don’t let the yoga pants and T-shirts fool you!
We are Yamaroody Mamas!
