As the school year came to an end, it was time to figure out what kids will be doing this fall. I have 2 girls that dance and registration had just opened. They both wanted to take ballet, jazz and also new classes. You know they wouldn’t fall on the same day, because that would just be way too easy. Then, I have a little boy who we were ready to see try some baseball, not to mention that one of the girls will be playing soccer again.
You gotta decide right away each spring, ‘cause registration opens early and classes fill fast. How did we do it all this summer without losing our minds and making sure we still had time to cook, clean and do the piles of laundry that never end? I admire mom’s with 4,5&7 kids, they seem to have it all together. How do they do it? How do working parents do it? How do single parents do it?
We currently do dance and are at the dance studio 4 out of 5 days in the week. Saturday’s are taken up by soccer which leaves Sundays but that’s church and family day! They say that juggling all the activities and everyday tasks take a lot of organization and creativity. Well, this coming fall we will see if that’s true. I am organized and follow a pretty strict schedule, but with added activities it was quite the shuffle!
