Upgrades to Your Home or Your Property
Are you planning upgrades or changes to your property and need help deciding who to ask or what counts as requiring HOA approval?
Here is the inside scoop.
By Wynfield Communications Committee
Maintaining Wynfield’s common areas is more expensive than you might think. For example, we are projecting $15k for our electricity costs alone in 2023. The pool costs thousands annually to maintain between cleaning costs, chemicals, furniture replacements, and more.
We are coming up on 30 years since the tennis courts were built. They are starting to fall
apart, and something will have to be done about it soon. Either we must spend the money to replace the tennis courts or rip them out and install something else in their place. Either option is not cheap.
All that being said, the most loving thing you can do for your fellow neighbors is to keep up with paying your annual dues. The fact is, we all rely on one another to pay our share so we can continue to keep our neighborhood operational.
Because this board sees significant expenses on Wynfield’s horizon (the tennis courts being the largest), for the first time in Wynfield history, we will be seriously exploring legal options to collect payment from delinquent residents on behalf of the rest of the neighborhood. Don’t let this be you!
